On Friday March 14th 2008, the first 'Big Art' was unveiled: Invisible by Greyworld.

The entire town of Burnley has become a canvas for magical paintings that appear
and disappear throughout the day and night. Some as big as a house, others as small
as a door, these paintings reveal a hidden side of Burnley, offering viewers the opportunity
to explore the town in a whole new light.

THE BIG ART PROJECT airs on Channel 4 in Autumn 2008

We're proud to announce that Big Art has been nominated for another
major award a full 8 months before the series airs on television.

The Big Art Mob is one of four finalists for the BAFTA Television Interactivity Award.
The winner will be announced at the London Palladium on April 20th, 2008.

The Big Art Mob interactive team have also been nominated for two BAFTA Television
Craft Awards: the Interactive Creative Contribution and the Interactive Innovation awards.
The winners will be announced on May 11th, 2008.
