Managing Director, JOE McLUSKY  joined Carbon from Shine, where he worked for seven and a half years as Director of Production overseeing every non-scripted programme produced in that time.

 

Joe has a vast breadth of experience in virtually every kind of programming – from the biggest studio based shiny floor show to the smallest quiz and panel show; from the complexities of 55 hours of “Masterchef” a year to the enormity of the resurrection of “Gladiators”; from documentaries filmed in Iraq, Iran, Chechnya and the Ark Royal to an 12 hour trawl through the “Story of Light Entertainment.” 

 

At Shine, he negotiated and oversaw the production of over 200 different commissions ranging from a 111 x 60” series, to a three year / nine series / £17m deal to one-off docs. He acted as Production Executive on over 150 different productions including “The Clothes Show” and “Project Catwalk”.

 

Prior to that, Joe was Head of Production for Entertainment at Granada Manchester where he managed productions such as “Stars in Their Eyes”, “This Morning” and “University Challenge”.
